Biography
Ajla (she/her) is a research coordinator within Dr. Sebastian Tong’s team. Before joining the team, she conducted a comprehensive quality improvement assessment for a local nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding Ukrainian refugees. Her project aimed to gain deeper insights into the nuances of bridging cultural divides and facilitating successful resettlement of Ukrainian refugees in Washington State. Her areas of interest include mental health, refugee health, clinical trials, and maternal and child health. Ajla is passionate about enhancing healthcare experiences and opportunities for a range of diverse communities.MPH, University of Washington
